Let us all take a moment to thank the people of Fredonia, New Hope Baptist Church, Chambers County, Tuskegee University’s Booker T. Washington, and philanthropist Julius C. Rosenwald’s Foundation for establishing New Hope Rosenwald School.  It is hard to imagine a better way to remember their efforts to educate Black children in New Hope and America than by restoring the actual building where the desire to learn was lit and kept burning for many years.

Many of these historic schools have fallen to despair.  However, through education and awareness there are significant efforts to save the few remaining.   If you would like to help save the past to shape the future, then join others who have already given a generous tax-deductible donation to the New Hope Foundation to assist us in the restoration of the New Hope Rosenwald School.

The New Hope Foundation is a 501(c) 3 non-profit organization and all contributions are tax deductible.
